Natural Disaster Field Trips! 201!

My class a break from our usual field trip antics and went on the 201 Natural Disaster Field Trips! I went with Dr. Julie Willis' class. She is a great teacher. She has been a teacher, mentor, and a friend to me during my stay in Idaho.

On this field I got to drive a van full of students and then later traded that awesome spot with my professor for a more crowded spot on the charter bus packed full of mostly college freshmen. With each stop I got to help students fill out their field trip worksheet, hold the whiteboard for short lectures, and give directions. It was great.   To fulfill a requirement for GEOL 405 I did all the teaching at a stop of my choice, which was at the Madison Landslide in Montana. I was really nervous but I was able hold everyone's attention during my time in the spotlight!

Disclaimer: The landslide happened way back in May. But I had forgotten about it and thought I would just add in the pictures here. (remember to add videos)
